R| 7.0 Countdown to Showcase

The clock is ticking. In just one week, our 2025 R|7.0 cohort will step forward to pitch their ventures to a live audience of industry partners and community.

The past fortnight has been all about sharpening, testing, and refining the pitch.

Words that move

Anita Siek, CEO of Wordfetti, joined us to show how language can be the difference between being heard and being remembered. Her message? Great copy isn’t about pretty words. It’s about words with intention. Stories give people a reason to care and a reason to act.

Painting a picture

Alex Daffara, Director of Studio Daffa, and designer, Isabella Bilokin, worked with participants to explore how design and visuals can amplify a pitch, helping each story land with clarity and impact.

Pitch-perfect practice

Then came the Pitch Panel — a rehearsal in front of a live audience with feedback that was as generous as it was practical. The cohort rose to the challenge, turning nerves into clarity and leaving with stronger, sharper pitches.

A huge thank you to our panellists:

The final countdown

Now, with just days to go, the focus is on fine-tuning for the Showcase, where our cohort will pitch their ventures to the wider creative sector, industry and peers. We’d love for you to join us!

Hosted by the fabulous Naomi Price, celebrated performer and Artistic Director of The Little Red Company, the evening will feature canapés, live music, and our 2025 cohort's bold new ventures.
