Join the movement rebellion
We face an epidemic of burnout and disconnect.
The pace, enormity and unrelenting nature of today’s world mounts an attack on our nervous systems.
We’re immobilised by rumination, exhaustion, fear, and fragmentation. We know we need to change, but can’t seem to think our way out.
To liberate stagnant energy, replenish focus, awaken adaptive states, and propel a profound shift in self — we need to move.
I get people moving.

PRAXIS Movement Labs [Brisbane]
This is not a dance class. This is a movement rebellion.
Monday evenings, fortnightly, at Metro Arts Brisbane, we practice the art of rupture, release, and rewire through dance.
Stuck? Stressed? Itching to move?
Leave it all on the dance floor.

Movement Research
I am leading a new study into the impact of embodied movement in leadership development.
I hypothesise that supporting the body’s capacity for disequilibrium - the state of internal imbalance caused by constant change and deep challenges of today - is essential for transformation, and that movement can be used as a method for training the body to regulate, adapt, and achieve greater coherence.

MONIQUE, PRAXIS PARTICIPANT
“What gift to Brisbane - a highly trained dance facilitator with the capacity to integrate leadership coaching with conscious movement.”
Why movement?
Humans are more than flesh and blood. We are symphonies of energy.
Movement practices rejuvenate. They rewire our circuits for joy, connection and experimentation. They help us harmonise all parts of the self, so we can act with intention and precision.
Through movement, we learn to flow with rather than against the disequilibrium of today, and open ourselves to opportunity.
In motion: we become lightning rods for abundant futures.
My embodied movement methodology?
Embodied movement is the process of mindfully moving your body - to drop in, connect, pay attention to sensation, and let the body lead.
When we move beyond the rational mind, we tap into the wisdom of the body. We can bypass mental blocks, and unearth new insights and capacities we did not know lived within us.
My approach is informed by The 360 Emergence, and over 25 years in adult development and applied performance.
Think free form dance, meets movement meditation and spoken provocation.
